KABALE –In a surprising turn of events, Emily Mporera, mother to the Ndorwa County West Member of Parliament contestant, counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera faced a double defeat in the ongoing National Resistance Movement (NRM) structure elections.
The elections, which are pivotal in shaping local leadership within the party, saw Mporera lose key positions in both Kabale Municipality and her home area of Mayengo Parish in Kamuganguzi Sub-county.
