RUBANDA-Hon. Prosy Akampulira Begumisa Mbabazi, the current Commissioner of Parliament and Rubanda District Woman Member of Parliament, has this afternoon been officially nominated to defend her seat in the upcoming National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries as the Rubanda District Woman Member of Parliament.
The nomination event, held at thé NRM offices at plot 13 Kyadondo road Kampala, drew a crowd of supporters who turned up to rally behind the incumbent legislator.
Speaking shortly after her nomination, Hon. Mbabazi expressed gratitude to her supporters and pledged to continue championing development initiatives, particularly those aimed at empowering women and promoting sustainability across Rubanda.
“I am seeking re-election so that we can build on the progress we have already made. My focus remains on prosperous women-led development and long-term sustainability for Rubanda,” she said.
She called on the people of Rubanda to support her once again in the NRM primaries, promising continued dedication to improving livelihoods and delivering services that uplift communities.
“I humbly ask for your vote and continued trust. Together, we can achieve even more,” she added.
Hon. Mbabazi’s nomination sets the stage for a competitive primary as she seeks to retain her position and continue representing the people of Rubanda District at the national level.
