KABALE- Hon. Eliab Naturinda Mporera has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the Ndorwa County West Parliamentary seat, securing nomination to contest in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Aiming to represent the constituency in Uganda’s 12th Parliament, Mporera affirmed his commitment to offering transformative and people-centered leadership.
In a statement following his nomination, he pledged to focus on key pillars such as community development, youth empowerment, and poverty eradication areas he believes are critical to unlocking the full potential of Ndorwa County West.
“I am stepping forward to serve with purpose and deliver tangible results.
Our people deserve effective representation that prioritizes development over rhetoric,” Mporera said, speaking to supporters shortly after his nomination was confirmed.
Known for his grassroots engagement and advocacy for youth inclusion, Mporera emphasized that he would work closely with local leaders and national stakeholders to ensure government programs reach every corner of the constituency.
With this announcement, Mporera joins a growing list of contenders vying for the NRM ticket in Ndorwa County West, a seat that is expected to be hotly contested in both the primaries and the general election.
The NRM primaries will determine who carries the party’s flag into the 2026 polls and Hon. Mporera is confident that his track record and vision will resonate with the people.
