KABALE -The Presidential Advisor on Agriculture and Local People, Peace Rugambwa, has called on residents of Kabale Municipality to embrace government programs and continue supporting the National Resistance Movement (NRM) under the visionary leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, especially as the country prepares for the upcoming general elections.
Rugambwa made the remarks while addressing a crowd of ghetto youth and sex workers at Kabale Municipal Stadium in Kabale Municipality, where she also launched empowerment initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of the the ghetto people.
Through these initiatives, Rugambwa is empowering business owners with seed capital provided through their associations to boost financial inclusion, strengthen business operations, and improve standards of living.
She noted that such empowerment efforts have enabled many youth in the region to access better economic opportunities and become self-reliant.
Rugambwa emphasized that by supporting government programs and working together under the NRM leadership, communities can achieve sustainable economic growth and development.
