Kabale, Uganda – Hon. David Bahati, Uganda’s State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry) and Member of Parliament for Ndorwa County West, has commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his pivotal role in steering peace and stability in Uganda since 1986—a foundation he says has enabled the country’s remarkable socio-economic transformation.
Minister Bahati made these remarks today while mobilizing support for President Museveni in Rubaya sub-county ahead of the President’s highly anticipated campaign visit to Kabale district scheduled for November 25, 2025.
Addressing locals and leaders, Minister Bahati emphasized that the enduring peace and security established under President Museveni’s leadership have allowed Ugandans to focus on development and income-generating activities within their communities.
“Because of the peace and stability we enjoy today, Ugandans are able to concentrate on building better lives for themselves and their families,” Minister Bahati stated.
“This environment has attracted investment, improved infrastructure, and created opportunities for all.”Bahati further highlighted significant achievements in sectors such as education, healthcare where over 700 mothers give birth in respective health facilities in the constituency, attributing these gains to the stable governance and visionary policies championed by President Museveni over the past decades.
Bahati asked the residents to prepare enough to welcome President Museveni in Kabale, noting that continued support is essential for sustaining progress and unlocking further development in the region.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to campaign in Kabale district on 25th November 2025 ahead of 2026 presidential elections.
