The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu, Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed their third child, a son named Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah.

The Busoga Kingdom announced the birth in a royal statement dated November 5, saying the prince was born on November 1, 2026.

The announcement, signed by Prince Arnold Nadiope, said the newborn shares his birthday with the Kyabazinga, making the occasion particularly special for the royal family and the kingdom.

“Both Her Royal Highness the Inhebantu and the newborn Prince are in excellent health,” the statement said, while thanking the people of Busoga, family, friends and well-wishers for their prayers and goodwill.

The latest addition comes about 14 months after the royal couple welcomed twin sons, Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, who were born on August 27, 2025.

The birth of the twins was announced on September 1, 2025, with the Kyabazinga expressing gratitude for what he described as a double blessing for the royal household.

The couple married on November 18, 2023, at Christ’s Cathedral, Bugembe, in Jinja City, in a ceremony that marked Busoga’s first royal wedding since 1956.

Their third child’s arrival comes almost three years after the marriage, further expanding the royal family.

The November 5 announcement said the royal family was grateful for the support and goodwill received during the occasion.
