Hundreds Welcome Counsel Mporera, Urges Supporters to Stand Strong Against Voter Intimidation & Impunity

KABALE -Counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera, the Ndorwa West Member of Parliament Aspirant, has cautioned his supporters against alleged attempts by his opponent, the Minister of Trade Industries and Cooperatives (Industry) David Bahati, to bribe and intimidate voters.

Counsel Naturinda said this today addressing thousands of his supporters during a homecoming procession, emphasizing the importance of protecting their votes.

The procession started at K MEGA OILS Petral Station Nyakijumba in Kabale town and ending at his home in Bunagana cell Kamuganguzi Sub County.

He made different stopovers at Kabale roundabout, Katuna, Lyakarimira Town Coucil, Butanda, among other areas.All all the different stopovers, Counsel Naturinda urged his supporters to reject any form of bribery and intimidation.

He emphasized that “people power” is stronger than security or money, encouraging supporters to turn out in large numbers and protect their votes.Naturinda called for respectful and peaceful elections, where every voter’s voice is respected.

He criticized Minister Bahati for alleged neglect of Ndorwa West constituency, citing a lack of visible development projects.“At first he was moving around telling lies that he shall give me money so that I don’t contest against him.

After realizing that I wasn’t that ordinary, he is now claiming he has links with security and will use it and money to make sure he is declared the winner even when he has lost the vote”. Mporera said

“Someone should go and tell him that his time is over and we are so ready to defeat him by all possible means standing on the support of Ndorwa West people who are tired of his lies” further warned Mporera.

Naturinda urged Ndorwa West residents to stand strong against threats and intimidation, encouraging his supporters to stay at polling stations and ensure their votes are counted and announced fairly.

“He is so desperate now, he has no other options than threaten and bribe, but all that won’t work. His time is completely over”. added Mporera

Naturinda’s message emphasizes the importance of fair and peaceful elections, while also highlighting concerns about voter intimidation and bribery.
