Rukiga Voters Encouraged to Elect Proven Leaders Ahead of 2026 Polls

RUKIGA –Rukiga County legislator, Hon. Bish Rolland Ndyomugyenyi, has urged residents to vote for leaders based on their capability and commitment to service rather than political party symbols.

While addressing crowds of supporters in Kibanda Parish, Kamwezi Sub county, Hon. Ndyomugyenyi emphasized that Rukiga needs a Member of Parliament who can effectively advocate for the needs of the people and lobby for development.

He reminded residents that the core mandate of an MP is to lobby for essential services, adding that leadership should be grounded in competence, not mere party allegiance.

Highlighting his achievements over the past five years, Hon. Ndyomugyenyi pointed to key projects he has spearheaded, including securing an ambulance for Kamwezi Health Centre IV, improving several roads, and supporting education for top-performing learners in the constituency.

He explained that his education support program has enabled many disadvantaged students to complete their studies, thereby promoting academic excellence in Rukiga.

Hon. Ndyomugyenyi also revealed that the five-year development plan under the National Development Plan (NDP) has already been budgeted for, stressing that voters should entrust him with another term because he understands the planned projects and is best positioned to deliver them.

Residents who attended the rally expressed appreciation for the services already rendered and pledged to support his re-election bid.generate titles
