KABALE- As the countdown to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries draws closer, aspiring candidate Atwebembeire Wilbroad Rwamushinja Rwamunahe has intensified his outreach, attending a series of church services across Kabale District where he urged Christians to elect leaders committed to servant leadership.
During visits to Rwemiyaga Church of Uganda, Nyakabungo Church of Uganda, Nyamigoye Church of Uganda, and St. Mark Nyanja Church of Uganda in Kizinga Parish, Kizinga Archdeaconry, Burambira Parish, Kaharo Subcounty, Atwebembeire used the platform to share his vision for Kabale and mobilize support.
Addressing congregants, Atwebembeire called on Christians to prioritize leaders who serve with integrity and accountability.
He pledged to champion the development of the district, promising inclusive growth and transparent governance if elected.
“I am here not just to seek your vote but to ask you to stand with me as I work to improve the lives of our people,” he said.

He revealed that he will be officially nominated on Tuesday, June 24, ahead of the NRM primaries scheduled for July 24.
He also announced that he will launch his manifesto during a radio talk show on *Voice of Kigezi 89.5 FM* this Thursday, where he is expected to outline his development agenda.
Atwebembeire’s message centered on restoring trust in public service through leadership that listens, delivers, and remains accountable to the people.
With the primaries less than a month away, his engagement with the community through places of worship marks a strategic move to connect with the electorate and strengthen grassroots support.
